KIDS CARE AI

Kids Care AI is an experimental virtual companion platform designed to support children before and after surgery. Developed in consultation with Dr. Dominic Venne, Chief of Surgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery at St. Justine Hospital, the platform features interactive, customizable characters and a “Story Mode” that offers fun tales or calming narratives explaining hospital procedures—helping reduce anxiety and create a reassuring experience.

Our first test story, The MRI Journey, explores how virtual companions and storytelling might reduce the need for sedation, easing stress for both children and families. Built with strict content filters, the app ensures safe and positive interactions.

We are seeking partners in healthcare, hospitals, and university research (including autism studies) interested in experimenting with AI-powered virtual beings for children.
